Submit Data to AK Aqua

Invasive species presence/absence records in the AK Aqua database are the result of data submissions from state and federal agencies, private entities, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Data submissions are vital to maintaining AK Aqua as the statewide repository for invasive aquatic species information. 

To submit data to the AK Aqua portal: Download the data entry form by clicking the button below. Enter data onto the form then submit the completed form to the email below.

Submission Deadlines

To reduce costs and maintain efficiency, we have three deadlines for data submissions:

December 31 – data submitted by this date are uploaded by the end of January

February 1 – data submitted by this date are uploaded by the end of February

April 1 – data submitted by this date are uploaded by the beginning of May

Data received after April 1 are uploaded as time/resources permit or are lumped in with the next December 31 deadline.
