Natalie received a B.S. in Botany from Miami University and a M.Sc. in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy and Conservation from Queen Mary University/ Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Her thesis project involved surveying and mapping of Bowal, a vegetation type in West Africa. Before joining Alaska Center for Conservation Science, Natalie worked for the Great Basin Institute conducting Rangeland Health Assessments in Nevada. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and making jewelry.
