Molly McCarthy received a B.S. in Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently working on a M.S. in Biological Sciences studying paleo- sockeye salmon populations using sediment cores on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. Her research will provide insight on salmon population fluctuations in the Russian River system over the past ~3700 years. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and running.
