Staff Biography

Justin Fulkerson earned a B.S. in Biology from Humboldt State University and a M.S. in Biology from University of Alaska Anchorage. His research interests are in plant evolutionary ecology, pollination ecology, ethnobotany, and the conservation of rare plants. Justin has over a decade of research and professional experience as a botanist with extensive field experience in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Intermountain West. Before joining the Alaska Center for Conservation Science, Justin was a botanist at the Idaho Natural Heritage Program and a research professional at U.C. Davis. Away from work, Justin is busy crafting tonics and bitters, enjoying outdoor activities, and curling.
